About Me
I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. I was fortunate to live overseas for many years, ten of those in London, England. Returning to the United States for my undergraduate work at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, I double majored with honors. I received a master’s degree from New York University and moved to California shortly thereafter. While in Los Angeles, I received a second master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Phillips Graduate Institute.
As well managing my private practice in Los Angeles for a decade, I am registered to see clients via telehealth in the state Florida.
I am also the Director of Behavioral Health for BioCorRx and MAT Tech Recovery Centers, both companies focusing on Medication Assisted Treatment for those struggling with addiction and sobriety.
I have a wide range of training in multiple therapeutic modalities. I utilize a blend of modern therapy – Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Family Systems Therapy, and post modern therapy – Solution Focused and Narrative Therapy.
One therapeutic approach does not always resonate with every client, so I enjoy bringing my diverse background into the session room to tailor my work to your needs.
